In the spring of 2014 I met with Yellow Dog owners Mike and Melinda to discuss the possibility of making beer paddles for their soon to open brewery and tap room in Port Moody BC.

They had the idea of incorporating a dog bone shape into a beer paddle! I wasn’t sure if it was possible, and I tried to give them some other options, but kept coming back to giving them what they wanted.

The idea seemed far fetched at the time!

The Bone Paddle was created and the rest is history.  They are successfully brewing a variety of quality beers and their Smoked Porter is award winning.  What started out as a beer paddle contract has now included their signature tap handles, table tops in the tap room and beer boxes for the holiday season. Great people, excellent beer.
